Wyandotte Michigan Sports

The sport is recognized by the Michigan High School Athletic Association and has grown to 17 official teams nationwide. Girls have been around since the 1990s, but growth has been slow, with only two high school teams in the past decade and one team in 2012.

Sports like the NHL, NBA and MLB are blackened and you can't see the game, but professional and college sports teams are not subject to blackout restrictions, so you're not able to watch their games. Anyone trying to stream a game outside their local viewing area will be blackout (i.e., no games are running). Teams can't then determine who is in their area to watch the sports team you want, so you can watch them.

The 2010-11 Bears, led by coach Mike Quint, who still runs the Roosevelt Hockey program, won the Division 2 title in 2011 and 2012. The Bears beat Chouteau in an open matchup the following week and lost in 1979, but this is only the second time in school history that a boys "bowling team has been prevented from achieving that feat in 2016.

Downriver United played four games last season before the sport was halted by the MHSAA due to viral cases rampant across the state.
